The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), intends to award a sole source purchase order to the Shannon Court Hotel for the purpose of providing lodging for 18 individuals while conducting radiological health training in San Francisco, California. The dates of the radiological health training is from June 19 to June 30, 2000. The Food and Drug Administration was able to obtain training facilities from the Veterans Administration at no cost for the above identified time frame at their VA hospital in San Francisco. The Shannon Court Hotel is the the only adjacent hotel which will accommodate the 18 individuals and provide conference requirements for the period of 19-30 June 2000 at the federal per diem rates. This procurement will be awarded as a simplified acquisition in accordance with the FAR subpart 13.5.
