This is a presolicitation notice issued in accordance with FAR 36.213-2. Project is for construction of a prefabricated metal storage building, 50' x 125' for the Missouri Army National Guard at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. Scope of work follows: BASE BID Construction of a 6,250 square foot pre-engineered metal building. The work includes foundation design, foundation, underground storm drainage, building erection, fire-rated interior wall, concrete apron, pipe bollards, and subgrade utilities. OPTION A: Furnish and install approximately 185 L.F. -- 1" PVC waterline extension from building to existing 8" water main. Contractor shall provide all materials for installation and tapping of existing water main to include valves and valve boxes. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $100,000 and $250,000. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside under SIC code 1541 (FAR 19.1007(b). The Invitation for Bid will be issued on or about 6/20/00 with an estimated bid opening date of 7/21/00. The performance period for the project is approximately 140 days from receipt of the Notice-to-Proceed. The date for the Pre-Bid Conference will be identified in the solicitation. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Ft. Leonard Wood, MO. Solicitation packets will include plans (half-size drawings) and specifications. Packets will be available on or about 6/20/00.
