Z -- REPLACE GROUND FLOOR AIR HANDLING UNITS, UD SOL IFB 646-30-00 DUE 071000 POC Cheryl Thornton, Contracting Officer, 412-365-5457 Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment and supervision to perform all necessary work required to complete Project 646-99-102U entitled, "Replace Ground Floor Air Handling Units, UD" at the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, University Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15240. Project work shall include, but is not limited to, the complete removal and replacement of three (3) air handling units and the complete removal only of one (1) air handling unit. Work to include the removal of all existing air handling units and installation of three (3) new air handling units; replacement of existing direct digital controls; tying into existing engineering control center, ductwork, and piping; and asbestos abatement in accordance with contract drawings and specifications. Work shall be performed in accordance with all VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System codes, standards, rules, regulations and other specified requirements. All work to be completed within 180 calendar days of the date of the receipt of Notice to Proceed. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 1711. Size standard is $7.0 million.
