Furnish all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to perform short-term wharf repairs at the USCG Integrated Support Command, New Orleans, LA. The work includes the following: (a) Replace deteriorated timber deck parking components, (b) Provide traffic barricades at the South ramp platform, (c) Replace deteriorated timber fender piles, (d) Replace North ramp platform, (e) Install a grout/rip- rap curtain at the North end, and (f) Replace deteriorated portions of wharf timber piles. There is a charge of $20.00 for the bid package. All bid requests must be submitted in writing. The check is to be made payable to the United States Coast Guard and is to be forwarded to the above Miami address. This action is being considered for 100 percent set-aside for HUBZone small business concerns. Interested HUBZone small business concerns should indicate their interest to the Contracting Officer, in writing, as early as possible but to be received not later than 15 calendar days of this notice. As a minimum, the following information is required: (a) a copy of the certificate issued by the SBA of your qualifications as a HUBZone concern, (b) a positive statement of your intention to submit an offer for this solicitation as a prime contractor, (c) evidence of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contacts and telephone numbers and (d) provide evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project, to include both single and aggregate totals. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on availability of interested HUBZone concerns. Failure to submit all information requested will result in a contractor not being considered as an interested HUBZone concern. If adequate interest is not received from HUBZone concerns by close of business 15 calendar days from the date of this notice, this solicitation will be issued on an unrestricted basis without further notice. Therefore, replies are requested from large and small businesses, as well as from HUBZone concerns. The estimated dollar value of this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1629 with a three-year average annual receipts small business size standard of 17.0 million.
