Contractor will provide all labor, materials, tools, and expert supervision to perform work to replace the Emergency Generator Controls at the VA Medical Center, 1601 Perdido Street, New Orleans, LA 70146. This project will take approximately 365 days to complete (including fabrication time). The contractor will be required to install a temporary engine generator station, replace switchgears and upgrade generators. The VA Medical Center will hold a Pre-Bid conference on Wedneday June 28, 2000 @ 10:00 a.m., Bidg #2, Roo 405. Solicitation will issue on or about June 12, 2000. The procurement is subject to the availability of funds and a 120 day bid acceptance period is manatory. Bid opening is schedlued for July 26, 2000 at 2:00 p.m., same location as the pre-bid. All request for bidding documents must be in writing and accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of $100.00.
