removal of the existing docking structure and constructing a new
concrete boat launch, abutments and docks. Also included will be the
removal of an existing vault toilet and the installation of an SST
Romtec Vault Toilet with road turnout and walking paths. All work will
be done as per Oregon State Marine Board requirements. The project
site is located at Miller Lake in northern Klamath County on USFS land.
From the community of Chemult, OR, north on Highway 97 about 0.5 miles
to USFS Rd. #9772, thence westerly approximately 13 miles to the
project area. Contractor will be required to use cold weather concrete
practices due to temperature fluctuations this time of the year. The
area is a remote site and contractor will be responsible for their own
security of equipment and materials. Shallow (0-15 feet) underwater
work will be required. Estimated start work date is September 11, 2000.
Magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This
procurement is Set-Aside for certified HUBZone Small Businesses. Posted
