The U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory has a requirement for one stainless steel, electrically heated, gravity air removal sterilizer with digital controls, an internal chamber at least 24" wide x 36" high x 36" front to back equipped with loading cart and transfer carriage. It must be ASME approved. Quotations must include specification/design data and installation requirements. Vendor will provide instructions on the use of the equipment. This equipment must include a standard warranty on parts and labor. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordnce with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposal/bids are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ S0000263), the provisions and clauses incorporated are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular #97-4. This solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) and is a Small Business-Small Purchase Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3821. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract.
