The Defense Threat Reduction Agency intends to issue a sole source modification to Maxwell Technologies Systems Division under contract DNA001-96-C-0053. Maxwell is currently under contract to develop all but two chapters of a revised edition of Glasstone's book, "The Effects of Nuclear Weapons," published in 1977. This modification provides for the incorporation of visual material, technical and other editing, support of the coordination process between DoD and DOE, and support for the security review and publication approval processes. DTRA believes that Maxwell is the only source capable of efficiently providing the subject requirement within the time required.
