FLEET AND INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY CENTER, NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD ANNEX PROPOSES TO CONTRACT FOR SERVICES TO PROVIDE AND OPERATE ELECTRONIC MAINTENANCE CENTER (EMC) OF THE NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. AN INDEFINITE DELIVERY/REQUIREMENTS TYPE CONTRACT WITH A BASE YEAR AND FOUR ONE-YEAR OPTIONS IS ANTICIPATED. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, qualified personnel, facilities, vehicles, equipment, and supplies for the manufacture or fabrication, remanufacture, overhaul, rstoration, modification, technical support, calibration, repair, and installation of electronic command, control, computers, communications, surveillance and test equipment, including packing, cleaning, painting, pickup and delivery as necessary. Further contractor responsibilities include the maintenance and management of replacement part stocks, software support, maintenance of records, and data entry and reporting as necessary. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE ISO 9000 COMPLIANT AND PROVIDE VERIFICATION OF SUCH. The government will provide Government Furnished Equipment and replacement part stock that the Contractor will be responsible for managing.
