reef research and preservation, the U.S. Dept. Of Commerce/NOAA/NOS
intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with the Florida Institute
of Oceanography, University of South Florida to provide support for
the CARICOMP (Caribbean Coastal Marine Productivity) Workshop to be
held in San Jose, Costa Rica at the University of Costa Rico from May
31 -- June 6, 2000. This workshop, which is being organized by the
Florida Institute of Oceanography, University of South Florida, will be
an international forum for the presentation of important developmental
research, including the designs for new monitoring efforts with
presentations by experts on coral diseases and other marine pathology.
This is a notice of intent with no solicitation package available.
Award will be made using simplified acquisition procedures. (Reference
