In general, the work shall consist of the following: Miscellaneous airfield improvements at Tyndall AFB. Project includes mill and asphalt concrete overlay of portions of the runway, extension of the overrun, concrete taxiway/runway repairs/replacement, shoulder construction, airfield lighting repairs/ replacement, duct bank replacement, and airfield signage. Phasing will be required to minimize impact to airfield operations. Bid documents are available on or about 16 June 2000. Estimated cost of work is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered.
