Z -- RENOVATION/FINISHOUT POSTAL INSPECTOR'S OFFICE AND INVESTIGATIVE SYSTEM SOL 482980-00-A-0747 DUE 060500 POC Lisa Salas, 214/819-7208 The project involves the renovation/finishout of an existing Postal Inspector's office and Investigative Office at the Bridge Creek Station, Wichita Falls, Texas. Work includes but is not limited to, selective demolition, roof membrane over roof insulation, sheet metal, masonry, metal stud partitions, insulation, gypsum board walls and ceilings, acoustical ceilings, carpeting, carpentry, painting, metal doors, metal frames, metal fabrications, security systems, electrical, and heating, ventilating and air conditioning complete and ready for use, in accordance with the plans and specifications. Estimated cost range $230,000 -- $245,000 and construction time is 90 calendar days. Successful offeror must submit their Subcontracting Plan for Small and Minority Owned and Woman-Owned Business initially and thereafter with their progress payment requests. The contractor shall subcontract with minority business firms in an amount aggregating not less than 10% of the total value of its subcontracts. Offeror must include documentation from bonding agent indicating offeror's capability at the time offer is due. Performance bonds in the amount of 100% and Payment bonds in the amount of 50% will be required from the successful offeror within forty-eight (48) hours after notification of award.
