Solicitation Number N00164-00-Q-0198 is hereby issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The Total Small Business Set-Aside is hereby dissolved in accordance with FAR 13.105. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17 and DCN 2000414. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this procurement is 3823. This requirement is for the following: CLIN 0001 -- 100 each Triple Seven Segment Displays, Eaton Corporation P/N 935B12R4G. This AN/ALE-47 System display features 3 seven segment readouts with 6000 hour lamps and red bezels. Naval Air Systems Command drawing numbers 3389AS464 and 3389AS406 Rev B., and military specification MIL-D-28803/3C apply. This requirement is being issued as a sole source to Eaton Corporation, 1640 Monrovia Ave., Costa Mesa, CA 92627 as the Eaton displays were subjected to and passed developmental and qualification testing. If a different display were to be used the qualification testing, both functional and physical, would have to be repeated. Delivery is required F.o.B. Crane, IN 47522 within 180 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane, IN. Selection for award will be based on past performance and price. Quotes that are non-compliant with any material requirement of this solicitation will be rejected without further consideration for award. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government.
