65 -- FETAL BOVINE SERUM SOL NOI0010 DUE 070700 POC Carolyn Sentz, Contracting Officer/Guy Baratte, Purchasing Agent/301-402-2282 The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to negotiate a sole-source simplified acquisition with Hyclone Laboratories of Logan, UT for fetal bovine serum. This item will be used for second generation clinical vaccine studies, viral titration assays and plaque neutralization assays. This serum has been used exclusively for these assays as part of NIAID Project No. Z01-AI 00341-17, The Evaluation of Live Attenuated Rotavirus for several years; therefore, it is essential that we use the same serum in order to maintain data integrity.
