The Air Force intends to award a sole-source three-year requirements contract to Thomas Jarrell Ash Corporation for the repair and support of five different spectrometers. The Part Numbers are as follows: AE35U3, 659001-3, 661601, 650162, and 276079. These items will be repaired on site. Telephonic and parts support will be included on this contract. Data will be provided periodically as part of the requirments under the contract. The Air Force does not have any drawings, specifications, nor technical orders for these items. The items being repaired are those from the manufacturer (Thomas Jarrell Ash Corp). All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of an acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but communicates Contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel.
