This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ No. C21815). The solicitation clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-17. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code for this acquisition is 3821. This requirement is set aside for small businesses, the size standard is 750 employees. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has a requirement for 1 Nuclear Magnetic Resonance Spectrophotometer, with a UNIX-based X-32 host computer system and dual 5mm H/C probe. This equipment will be installed by the vendor who also must provide instructions on the use of the equipment. This equipment must include a standard warranty one (1) year on parts and labor.
