A -- APPLIED RESEARCH, DEVELOPMENT, TEST AND EVALUATION OF RUBBER MATERIALS SOL W813LT-0137-6019 DUE 061400 POC Jean Craig, Contract Specialist, 410-278-6517 The US Army Research Laboratory, Weapons and Materials Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005 plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the purchase of technical services in accordance with the Statement of Work involving the performance of duties connected with the applied research, development, testing and evaluation of rubber materials. The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This source is Canadian Rubber Testing and Development Ltd (CRTDL), Ontario, Canada, and has proven to possess the necessary expertise, technical skills and capabilities to meet and accomplish the Government's requirements. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competitive basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
