Work involves archeological testing at six prehistoric archeological sites at the City of East Grand Forks in northwestern Minnesota, to determine their eligibility to the National Register of Historic Places. In addition, a proposed borrow area for use during flood protection project levee construction, a spot dike location south of the city and five recreation feature locations will be surveyed for cultural resources. Key project personnel must meet the Secretary of the Interior's professional qualification standards for archeologists, historic archeologists, and historians (ref. 36 CFR 61, Appendix A). The Contractor will need to obtain an archeological license from the Office of the Minnesota State Archaeologist prior to starting fieldwork. SIC is 8999; Small Business Size Standard is $5 million.
