The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is soliciting for closing agent services for the sale of single family properties located with the Jackson, MS area comprising of the following 18 counties: Desoto, Tunica, Tate, Panola, Quitman, Coahoma, Bolivar, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Yalobusha, Grenada, Carroll, Leflore, Washington, Humphreys, Holmes, Sharkey, and Issaquena. Sales must be closed within a stipulated time frame and prompt and accurate payment of all closing changes made. Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Mississippi. The contract will be for a one-year base period, with four one-year options. Proposals will be rated on technical merit. Contract start-up is expected to be September 01, 2000. This is a 100% small business set-aside.
