foot Cutter Storage Building consisting of CMU walls and metal roof
with a concrete foundation. Construction of the building will include
Civil, Electrical, Structural and Mechanical systems. Provide upgrades
to the pier's existing electrical, telecommunications, water and sewer
systems to support a second shoretie facility. Work includes demolition
of the current Diesel tanks and piping system to the pier which will be
replaced with a new 4,000 gallon tank and piping system. A new
electrical distribution system will be provided to support the new
electrical requirements of the pier and to support the Cutter Support
Building. There is a Bid Option which consists of relocation of the
debris boom. Timber pile driving is required for this option. Award of
the option is subject to availability of funds. Government Estimate
for all work including the option is between $500,000 and $1 million.
Contract duration 180 days. The solicitation will be issued under the
Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Plans and
specifications will be available on or about 8 June 2000 and must be
ordered in writing. There is a nonrefundable charge of $20.00 for each
