This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the Motorola equipment: (1) Quantity 3 of Model URC-200 Radio UHF/VHF package with Handset, Battery Box, Antenna (P/N 01-P36742M001); (2) Quantity 3 of Model UDD-100A Power Converter 12 to 24 Volt (P/N 01-P34336E001); (3) Quantity 3 of Model UCB-300 Carrying Bag Canvas (P/N 56-P35872M003); (4) Quantity 3 of Model PTSH-104 Speakers External Amplified (P/N 50-P36033M002); (5) Quantity 3 of Model LSCA-103 Speakers External Cable (P/N 30-P31016E001); (6) Quantity 3 of Model PTHS-110 Handset (P/N 01-P04535L001); (7) Quantity 3 of Model UVU-110S Antenna External Mount Kit (P/N 85-P39221N001); (8) Quantity 6 of Model BB-590/U NiCad Battery (P/N BB-590/U); (9) Quantity 1 of Model UBS-110 NiCad Battery Charger (P/N MAI-11752NK); and (10) Quantity 2 of Model UCA-100 Retransmit Cable (P/N 30-P43986F001-10). The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-17. The SIC code and the small business size standard for this procurement are 3663 and 750, respectively. The quoter shall state in their quotation their size status for this procurement. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Delivery to JSC is required as specified in above description. Delivery shall be FOB Destination. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. Quotations for the items(s) described above may be mailed or faxed to the identified point ofcontact and include solicitation number, FOB destination to this Center, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment terms, warranty duration (if applicable), taxpayer identification number (TIN), identification of any special commercial terms, and be signed by an authorized company representative.
