General Services Administration Region 10 intends to solicit, negotiate and award an indefinte delivery indefinite quantity service contract on a sole source basis to the Intertribal Geographic Information Systems Council (IGC) for Native American employees and management to perform Geographic Information System (GIS) mapping for federally-funded projects on federally-recognized Tribal lands. The IGC is a national, Native non-profit organization in Pendleton OR. The Government is unaware of any other tribal council that has agreements in place to allow multible tirbes on the land. This agreement is imperative in order to facilitate the respectful collection of data while recognizing the importance of tribal culture. The contract period of performance will be for a base year, from date of contract award through 12-months thereafter, plus four one-year option periods. This acquisition will be solicitied utilizing FAR Part 15. It is anticipated that the RFP will be issued on or about 6 Jun 00, with a 30-day closing.
