The United States Penitentiary, Florence, Colorado is soliciting for vocational training services in business machine operations for incarcerated federal inmates. Class instructor must be knowledgeable in Corel WordPerfect 8, Lotus Millennium, Visual Data Base 5.5, Microsoft Windows 98 and Microsoft DOS 6.2. The program under which this these classes are provided, must be certified or eligible for certification through the Colorado State Board of Community Colleges and Occupational Education (SBCCOE) Board. Awardee must be able to issue/award individual student certificates, or vocational training certificates that are certified through the SBCCOE Board. These services are advertised as full and open competition. Services will be required for a one year base period, with four one-year option periods for a total of sixty months from the date of award. The estimated quantity of annual sessions is four-hundred-thirty, three hour sessions. Anticipated award for the base year of the contract is October 1, 2000.
