Contract Scope: The supplies covered by this contract are spare or replacement parts for Naval pumps which are currently shown as being sole source items to IMO Industries (59180, 16712). 118 sole source items to IMO Industries (59180, 16712) are included in this grouping. Award will be made on an ALL OR NONE BASIS per NSN for the supplies covered under this contract with the possibility of split awards (awards of some NSNs to one contractor and the remainder to one or more other contractors). It is currently projected that almost all of the orders issued will be Direct Vendor Delivery (DVD), however this statement will not limit DSCC from shipping items to a DLA stock location. Type of Contract: The United States Government (USG) will award a FIRM FIXED PRICE CONTRACT. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote, which shallbe considered. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed 10 years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. This acquisition is for supplies for which the government does not possess complete, unrestrictive, technical data; therefore the government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(C)1. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
