B -- PROGRAM BASED STAFFING FOR GRADES K-12 POC Anne Stevens, 703-696-3843, x1408 The Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) is conducting market research to identify potential sources for the research study described below. This is not an announcement of a requirement that currently exists instead it is a request for information from sources that can conduct a short educational research study. This announcement does not, in any way, commit the Government to procure an educational research study described in this announcement. DoDEA operates schools located on military bases in the U.S. as well as in 13 foreign countries. For more information about DoDEA, consult the DoDEA Website at http://www.odedodea.edu. THE GOVERNMENT WILL NOT PAY FOR INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT REQUEST. THE GOVERNMENT WILL ALSO NOT PAY FOR ANY COSTS INCURRED IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS INFORMATION. Any information submitted in response to this sources sought request will not be returned. DoDEA requests information from all parties interested in conducting a two month research study on program based staffing for grades K-12 . The study would address such educational research areas as defining program based staffing including the ability to ensure that all students in a diverse multicultural environment have access to all areas of elementary and secondary curriculum, literature searches on curriculum standards for grades 1 through 12 grade by content area, provide examples of best practices for achieving program based staffing, any current model programs, and various options for implementing program based staffing. DoDEA is interested in receiving information about any previous research studies a potential contractor has conducted on this subject or similar areas of educational research. Interested parties have 10 working days from the publication date of this synopsis to submit descriptions/literature of their capability to meet this potential requirement. Parties should also submit the standard contractual terms and conditions under which they supply these services to other organizations including local educational agencies, as well as past experience conducting short term educational research studies (with references) and basic pricing information. Large and small businesses including nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher education are invited to respond to this request for information.
