(760) 939-8160 The Naval Air Weapons Division, China Lake, anticipates
issuing a solicitation for a five-year contract for Air Weapons
Survivability Analysis Support. The Standard Classification (SIC) Code
is 8711 and the small business size standard is $20 million average
annual receipts over a three year period. In the event a contract is
awarded, the successful offeror must possess the ability to obtain a
TOP SECRET clearance. Work to be performed includes the capability to
perform analyses of Navy and Tri-Service air weapon systems including
aircraft of all types, unmanned air vehicles, missiles and/or ordinance
that is air, surface, or subsurface launched. The analyses shall
combine the results of any or all of the following elements: (1)
vulnerability analysis, (2) susceptibility analysis, (3) survivability
analysis, (4) lethality analysis, (5) mission effectiveness analysis,
(6) cost and operational effectiveness analysis, (7) air-vehicle
battle damage repair analysis, (8) analytical and test data acquisition
and reduction, (9) test and analytical data review, (10) assessment of
analytical estimates, (11) assessment of test results on targets
survivability estimates including proposed design changes to enhance
air weapon system survivability, (12) test planning and reporting for
ballistic systems tests, (13) test planning and reporting for
susceptibility tests, and (14) simulation development, enhancement,
operation, maintenance and related support (15) database management,
(16) simulation resources product assurance, (17) simulation
documentation, (18)model and simulation verification, validation and
accreditation, (19) joint live fire test analysis, and (20) engine
survivability and vulnerability assessment analysis. To support the
scope of the contract the contractor must have the capability to
provide technical expertise in relevant disciplines for engineering,
physics, mathematics, computer science, and technical documentation.
