The work to be performed includes furnishing and installing a packaged 50-ton water chiller unit (shell in tube heat exchanger type) system in the Bureau of Reclamation Eastern Colorado Area Office headquarters building. Besides the chiller unit, the system includes chilled water circulating pumps, 3/4-inch to 3-inch copper lines, valves and associated accessories and hardware required for a complete operating system. The installation will include connection of the chiller system into the existing office HVAC system. The existing HVAC system does not use a water chiller for cooling. The Eastern Colorado Area Office building is located at Flatiron Reservoir approximately 7 miles southwest of Loveland, Colorado. The Request for Quote will be available on or around June 16, 2000.
