The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Heartland VISN 15 Contracting Office in Leavenworth, KS is soliciting for wound dressing trays for the V.A. Medical Center(s) St. Louis, MO. This procurement is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The requirement is for the following: (17,400 ea) of Sterile Wound Dressing Trays, (medium), that consists of the following components: one waterproof discard bag with twist tie (equal to or larger than 14" x 14"); one pair disposable powdered latex gloves size 7 1/2 or 8; one pair insert forceps (plastic) with serrated tips, 5"; six 2" x 2" coarse guaze (in small solution tray); one 100ml .9 sterile saline solution; four 4" x 4" coarse guaze; one 5" x 9" abdominal (ABD) pad; one 1" x 54" roll of hypoallergenic tape; one large prep tray, 9.5" long x 5.5" wide x 1" deep; one small prep tray, 5.5" long x 5.25" wide x 1" deep. Contents of inner wrap are sterile. Contents shall be wrapped in double layered Central Sterile Wrap (CSR) wrap. Packaged 20 trays/case.(8,000 ea) Sterile Wound Dressing Trays, (major) that consist of the following items: one waterproof discard bag with twist tie (equal to or larger than 14" x 14"); one pair disposable powdered latex gloves size 7, 7 1/2 or 8; one pair insert forceps (plastic) with serrated tips, 5"; one pair lift forceps (plastic) with serrated tips, 5"; one pair sharp/blunt scissors, 4 1/2" or 5"; two plastic spatulas for medication application, 5" -- 6" long; six 3" x 3" coarse guaze (in a small solution tray); six 4" x 4" coarse guaze; one 100ml .9 sterile saline solution; two 8" x 10" abdominal (ABD) pads; one 1" x 54" roll of hypoallergenic tape; one large prep tray, 9.5" long x 5.5" wide x 1" deep; one small prep tray, 5.5" long x 5.25" wide x 1" deep. Any concern proposing to furnish a product that it did not itself manufacture must furnish the product of a small business manufacturer unless the SBA has granted either a waiver or exception to the nonmanufacturer rule.
