Palaia, Contracting Officer, (732) 323-2418 CBD ANNOUNCEMENT FOR V-22 TEST PROGRAM SET (TPS) REHOST TO THE RECONFIGUREABLE / TRANSPORTABLE Consolidated Automated Support System (RTCASS) The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE)intends to negotiate a sole source contract with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office, Patuxent River MD, under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), implemented by FAR 6.302-1 with an approved Justification and Approval to follow this announcement. This requirement is to rehost CASS TPS's from CASS stations to RTCASS stations. The NAWCADLKE does not own nor has taken possession of the required TPS software and hardware, specifications, drawings, and other related data to permit full and open competition. Items to be rehosted by this procurement include approximately 23 WRA First Article Test Units. Issuance of the solicitation is projected by December 2000 or sooner with a closing date approximately 30 days thereafter. The NAWCADLKEis anticipating a Cost Plus Fixed Fee type contract.
