TACOM-ARDEC is seeking sources for M231 and M232 Inert Modular
Artillery Charge System (MACS) Propelling Charges. The anticipated
quantities are 6000 each M231 and 7500 each M232 charges. The
contractor must possess the technical capability to provide inert
propellant, inert ignition system and end seals to load the inert
cases. Cases and containers will be provided as GFM. The contractor
must have the requisite engineering staff, equipment, expertise and LAP
facility to satisfy the U.S. Goverment requirements. Firms with the
experience in the areas cited above should provide a summary of their
company's capabilities including a description of facilities, personnel
and past experience to meet this requirement by 9 June 2000 in
accordance with Note 25. Request that all information be submittted via

compresed using WinZip (http://www/winzip.com). The MACS and its
components are on the Military Critical Techynologies List (MCTL), Aug
1996. Therefore, the MACS TDP is restriced by the Arms Export Control
Title Act, Title 22, U.S.C. Sec 2751 and is subject to DOD Directives
5230.24 and 5230.25. Respondents to the notice will not be notified
either of the receipt or the assessment of the information submitted.
