This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation DABT43-00-T-1042 is issued as a request for Quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and cluses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circular 97-14. This acquisition is unrestricted. The SIC code is 4899. The size standard is $11 million. The US Army War College, HQ Carlisle Barracks and tenent activities requires voice, alpha/numeric and digital numeric pager services for approximately 155 personnel. Most pager services require activation in a 100 mile area centered around Carlisle Pensylvania. Many will require activation areas around New York city and/or Washington DC. A few will require nation wide activation. This requirement is for commercially available services. No equipment or pagers will be purchased. Voice mail and other features may be required. The contract term shall be 1 October 2000 to 30 September 2003.
