The contractor will clean the entire air duct system in Bldg. 1002, 1st. & 2nd. floors, including the plenum between the air handlers and the ductwork and plenum between 1st. & 2nd. floors and all VAV boxes. The contractor will use the rotorbrush vacuum method or equivalent to clean the duct. This method should brush at 450 RMP & 250 CFM. Linear diffusers will be cleaned with a mild cleaning solution and thoroughly rinsed with water. All fiberglass-lined ducts shall be vacuumed with HEPA-filtered negative air machine and ductwork resealed as needed. VAV boxes and ductwork shall be resealed at vacuum access to prevent air leakage and access plates installed as needed. Ductwork will be fogged with deodorizer. All loose ductwork will be reconnected. All workers shall be fully trained in MSDS, Safety, Respirators, Ladders, etc. The job shall be performed during 2nd. shift (3-11). Contractor shall remove all debris and leave areas worked unaffected for NAVOCEANO personnel entering spaces on the following day shift. Prior to commencement of work, contractor will provide to designated government POC a schedule of work. In addition, contractor will provide to government POC weekly updates and notification of work that adversely effects personnel or equipment. 2.
