These people are required to Augment, Backup and Edit the ASOS observations as necessary to make the observations representative of the area immediately surrounding the airports. All services conducted in connection with the performance of this contract shall be in accordance with the provisions of NWS Observing Handbook(WSOM); and all revions to these documents, including those which take effect during the course of the contract. The ASOS equipment will be utilized as described in the various ASOS support documentation. These publications will be provided to the contractor. The scheduled commencement date for these services is October 1, 2000 through September 30, 2001 with four option years.
