Dictation shall be performed through the use of a provided toll free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, telephone dictation lines. Multiple users shall have access to the dictation lines concurrently. Completed transcriptions shall be delivered, encrypted, via electronic mail (computer) to the Sells Hospital, Sells, Arizona. All transmission shall be received within 24-hour turn around time. Electronic transfers to the Sells Hospital shall be performed by using a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) in MS Word 6.0 version or higher format that is Y2K compliant. Transcriptiosn shall be prepared in Courier or mutually agreed upon font with a minimum of character space line of 66. Upgrades necessary to word processing software must be pre-approved by the Government and compatible prior to installation and use. Mini-cassettes may be used in substitution in case of any down time of computers or telephones. A daily log will be maintained and on any given day transmitted to IHS on all dictations received during the day up to midnight. Period of Performance will be one year from the date of award plus four on-year option periods. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the agency.
