Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, supervision and any other items necessary to resurface the hangar floor located in bldg 5 bay L, with an epoxy/urethane coating. (E31-1202/U31-1201). Approximately 16,250 sq feet floor area in accordance with the attached Statement of Work. 1. DESCRIPTION: This statement of work sets forth the requirements for the removal and application of a high performance epoxy/urethane organic paint coating system (E31-1202/U31-1201) on concrete flooring. Installation of this coating will provide resistance to hydraulic fluids, oils, detergents and chemicals. Additionally, these benefits (ease of cleaning, increased light reflection and reduced maintenance costs) will add to a professional and safe work environment. 2. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE: Building 5, Bay L, Hill AFB UT. This facility is currently occupied by the 649 Combat Logistics Support Squadron (CLSS) and is utilized to accomplish annual Aircraft Battle Damage Repair classroom and practical training for over 350 active duty and reserve personnel. Moreover, an A-10 proficiency-training element located within this bay also conducts annual training for 649 CLSS squadron personnel. 3. GENERAL INFORMATION: The contractor shall provide all necessary resources, labor, materials, equipment, etc., required to perform the work as per contractual agreement. The contractor shall obtain all permits and vehicular passes required by all OO-ALC security and safety offices. Likewise, the contractor shall keep the work area reasonably free from excessive accumulations of waste products and upon completion will ensure the work area and premises is left in a clean and neat conditions, subject to a final inspection by the 649 CLSS project manager. The contractor shall use only materials/chemicals that are deemed VOC compliant to Utah, and will dispose of any excess material in accordance with Utah regulatory requirements. The government will provide, as necessary, reasonable use of heat, lighting, ventilation, electrical power outlets, to accomplish maintenance. 4. SCOPE OF WORK: 4.1 PREPARATION: Portable vacuum shot blast the entire floor area (approx. 16,250 sq ft). Waste material to be disposed of as solid waste pursuant to Utah State law. 4.2 Fill cracks and floor imperfections using (E31-1204). 4.3 Apply an epoxy leveling material (E31-1202) using rollers and squeegees to fill irregularities and to provide a suitable substrate for bonding of the topcoats. 4.4 APPLICATION: 4.4.1 Apply 1st top coat using (E31-1201) 4.4.2 Apply 2nd and final top coat using (E31-1201) 4.4.3 Method of application: Paint rollers and squeegees. Color to be determined by the 649 CLSS. 5. WARRANTY: The contractor shall warrantee all labor and materials for one (1) calendar year from the date of final acceptance by the 649 CLSS project manager. 6. POC: Inspection and acceptance and Certificate of Service will be accomplished after completion of work by the 649 CLSS project manager, 801-777-7834, or 801-777-8067.
