The US Army, Installation Business Office-Contracting, has a requirement for providing contractor-owned/contractor laundered (COCL) linens for the Fort Bragg Airborne Inn Guest Houses and Transient Lodging Facilities and the Fort Bragg Club System for a one (1) year period (1 October 2000 through 29 September 2001), with four (4) option periods. The contract which may be renewed annually, will not exceed five (5) years. The Contractor is to deliver clean linen and pick up soiled linen for the two (2) Airborne Inn Guest Houses and the Fort Bragg Club System on a weekly basis (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Beginning the 1st Option period,, the Contractor will also, deliver clean linen and pick up soiled linen for the two (2) Transient Lodging Facilities. Contractor owned linen for the Fort Bragg Airborne Inn Guest Houses and Transient Lodging Facilities consists of bath towels, bath mats, hand towels, wash cloths, king, full and twin size sheets, and pillow cases. Contractor owned linen for the Fort Bragg Club System consists of aprons, napkins (various colors), tablecloths (various colors and sizes), bar mop towels, door mats, and kitchen shirts and trousers. The date for receipt of offers is estimated. The solicitation will contain a firm closing date. Due to the automation of the Bidders Mailing List, certain pertinent information is required before vendors can be added to the list. It is therefore, required that all requests for solicitation include the vendor's business size, complete company name, address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address. Request shall be submitted via e-mail to davisd@bragg.army.mil or fax (910) 396-5603 and must reference the solicitation number and title. This solicitation will be unrestricted. Contractors wishing to do business with the Government must be registered in the CCR for any awards resulting from solicitations issued after 1 June 1998 or the contractor will be ineligible for award.
