This is a Request for Information to obtain comments from industry on the attached Introductory Flight Training Performance Work Statement (Atch 1). The purpose of the Introductory Flight Training (IFT) program is to perform all services necessary to ensure that all cadets, lieutenants, and other students obtain a Private Pilot's Certificate. The IFT program is based at the United States Air Force Academy (USAFA) and various other locations near Colorado Springs, Colorado. Request industry comments address suggestions on the pricing structure of the IFT program (i.e. per flying hour, per student, etc.), number of option years, and any comments on the PWS. Industry comments are highly encourage and appreciated. The applicable SIC 8299 and the size standard is $18.5 million. This project is unrestricted (full and open competition).
