Bureau of Indian Affairs, Miami West Road, Project No. G00-0166(1)G,S,
is a proposed grade, drain, and paving project, approximately 1.0 mile
(1.6 km) in length. The project consists of grading, fencing, drainage,
constructing aggregate base, asphalt paving, signing, seeding, erosion
control, and striping. Miami West Road begins about 0.5 mile (0.8 km)
East of the Stepps-Ford Bridge over the Neosho River, approximately 5
miles (8 km) northwest of Miami, OK. The project begins at the
Southwest corner of Section 4, T28N, R22E, of the Indian Base and
Meridian, Ottawa County, Oklahoma, thence it extends Northerly
approximately 1.0 mile (1.6 km) along the West boundary of said Section
4, to the Northwest corner of Section 4. The Cost Range for this
project is $500,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. Request bid documents on or
after June 12, 2000. The request should be accompanied with a $50.00
(non-refundable) Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or Money Order, made
payable to the "Bureau of Indian Affairs", Eastern Oklahoma Regional
Office, Division of Administration-Contracts, Room 437, 101 N. 5th St.,
Muskogee, OK 74401-6206. Cash, Personal, or Company Checks, are not
acceptable. Bid Opening will be held on Thursday, July 13, 2000, 10:00
A.M., Local Time at the place of bid opening, Room 410, U. S.
Courthouse and Federal Building, 101 N. 5th St., Muskogee, OK
74401-6206. A Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Thursday, June 29,
2000, at 10:00 AM, Local Time at the place of bid opening, Room 410, U.
S. Courthouse and Federal Building, Muskogee, OK 74401-6206. There will
be no other scheduled Pre-Bid Conference and all interested bidders are
strongly encouraged to attend. All responsible sources may submit an
offer. Section 7(b) of Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450e) and 4l CFR
14.1.354 requires preference opportunities in employment and training
