The Department of the Treasury, Departmental Offices, Procurement Service Division, Room 1310G, Suite 400E, 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20220, is seeking potential sources, on a full and open competitive basis, to provide covert radio transmitters & receivers. This solicitation is open to any responsible, responsive vendor that meets all requirement of the solicitation. SIC Code is 3669. The Contractor shall provide (1) covert narrow-band FM analog radio transmitters; and (2) corresponding tactical narrow-band analog radio receivers. The Contractor shall provide to the Government, covert narrow-band FM analog radio transmitters and receivers compliant with TIA/EIA-603 Land Mobile FM or PM Communications Equipment measurements and Performance Standards, and Chapter 5, Spectrum Standards in the National Telecommunications and Information Agency (NTIA) Manual of Regulations and Procedures for Federal Radio Frequency Management. All transmitters must be type accepted in accordance with FCC Part 90. Types of transmitters include personnel protection, stand-alone and those built into various concealment's. Contractor shall provide equipment description, availability, technical specifications, capability, accessories, and service support. Manufacturers/Vendors will be required to possess a valid U. S. Government CONFIDENTIAL Security Clearance in order to receive any Solicitation/Award. This solicitation is open continuous, with the first cut-off date of June 30, 2000. The Department of the Treasury may elect to award a single or multiple award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract(s) for the same or similar covert equipment under the subject solicitation.
