ABAQUS suite of engineering analysis software simulates the physical response of structures, solid bodies, and fluid to load, temperture, contact, impact and other environmental conditions available on standard engineering computer systems, ranging from desktop computers running Wins NT to super-computer systems with UNIX. It must be able to cope with nonlinear materials, nonlinear structural and non-structural analyses. Also, it must deal with biological tissues, which are biphasic materials composed of solid and fluid phases, and sophisticated problems which have to be solved in vibration analysis including the effects of mechanical-thermal coupling. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. SimplifiedAcquisition procedures will be utilized and an oral quotation will be solicited on or about June 09, 2000.
