Conduct Red Tree Vole surveys on the Klamath National Forest, west of Highway 5. Project includes surveying 600 meter transects, climbing trees with potential red tree vole nests, and collecting voucher specimens on the Forest. Plots are pre-determined by USFS. This is an indefinite quantity contract. The Government shall order a minimum of 40 plots and a maximum of 85 plots of surveys; a minimum of 80 trees and a maximum of 500 trees to be climbed; and a minimum of 0 voucher specimens and a maximum of 85 voucher specimens to be collected on this contract. Estimated start work date is July 10, 2000; all work will be completed by September 15, 2000. Date for receipt of quotes has not been established, but is estimated to be in early July, 2000.
