J -- OVERHAUL OF C130 AIR SPEED INDICATORS SOL DTCG38-00-R-H00011 DUE 073100 POC Nancy DeBerry, Contract Specialist, 252-335-6291 or Martha Hebrew, Contracting Officer, 252-335-6557 The U.S. Coast Guard requires procurement of overhaul services for the items specified on an "as-required" basis for a one-year base period to begin at date of award, with four one-year option periods renewable annually. Specific items and their corresponding estimated quantities are as follows: Air Speed Indicators, NSN 6610-01-263-1400, P/N 532-38105-202; Base Period -- Estimated annual quantity of 36 each; First Option Period -- Estimated annual quantity of 36 each; Second Option Year -- Estimated annual quantity of 36 each; Third Option Year -- Estimated annual quantity of 36 each; Fourth Option Period -- Estimated annual quantity of 36 each. This requirement will be satisfied using commercial acquisition procedures as described in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15.101-2 for Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable. OFferors must, however, achieve a satisfactory evaluation for past performance in accordance with FAR Part 15.305(2). This requirement is advertised as a small business set-aside; the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 3728 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The units will be overhauled and shipped to USCG Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Elizabeth City, NC unless otherwise directed. The Coast Guard intends to negotiate and award one contract for these services. Overhaul shall be accomplished in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) manuals. The Coast Guard does not own nor can it provide specifications, drawings or data for the ovehaul of these items. Desired delivery is 30 days after receipt of material and the Fob point is destination. Offerors must possess a current FAA or OEM certification and provide a copy of the certification with the offer. A Department of Defense certification may be submitted for review and approval by the Contracting Officer on a case by case basis. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency. The solicitation will be issued on or about 15 June 2000.
