This is a Sources Sought notice to alert the UXO Salvage Recycling community/ industry to this upcoming program. This is not a solicitation and no proposals should be submitted in response to this informational synopsis. Parsons-UXB Joint Venture (Prime Contractor with the U.S. Navy for the Kaho`olawe Island UXO Clearance Project) wishes to compile their Bidder's List of all interested parties of a solicitation requesting for UXO Salvage Recycling Services. 2. Parsons-UXB Joint Venture has a DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW). Parsons-UXB Joint Venture welcomes any suggestions to improve this SOW and your input would be appreciated. Any information that you would like to provide to us will be accepted but no response will be provided to your submission. The SOW calls for the proposer to do the following: a. Develop a Quality Recycling Program (QRP) to include but not limited to preparation of QRP Guide Fixed Price b. Mobilize and Demobilize Equipment/Personnel on Kaho`olawe Fixed Price c. Process, transport and dispose of the following materials: 1) UXO-Related Remnants Fixed Unit Rate 2) Target Materials Fixed Unit Rate 3) Non-UXO Related Material Fixed Unit Rate d. Demilitarization of inert ordnance and target items Fixed Unit Rate e. Thermal Treatment contaminated UXO remnants Fixed Unit Rate 1.
