one three story 5800 square meter Barracks Building clustered on two
sides of a three story 1, 240 square meter Soldier Community Building
and 15 standard two story Company Operations Facilities with a total
area of 12,689 square meters. The construction will be accomplished on
four separate sites on Ft. Eustis. The Barracks building consists of
standard room modules accommodating 64 persons per floor for a total
occupancy of 192 persons. Barracks primary circulation is by exterior
exit balconies. All buildings are grouped around common use
courtyards/patios. The Soldier Community Building will contain activity
rooms, laundry facilities, individual storage spaces, mailroom, space
for common use kitchen, recreation, relaxation and meeting areas. The
Soldier Community Building will be connected to the barracks by covered
walkways and balconies. The company operations facilities will contain
office spaces, locker room space, arms vaults, and storage areas.
Structure includes reinforced concrete, structural steel, concrete
masonry, brick, metal decks, steel joists, metal roofing, exterior
insulation finish system, split face masonry, metal gutters and down
spouts, metal railings, sealants, carpentry, paint, aluminum doors,
wood doors, aluminum windows, acoustic ceilings, ceramic and quarry
tile, resilient floors, carpet, plumbing, casework, heating ventilation
and air conditioning, gas piping, interior electric, underground
electrical distribution, fire alarms, lighting, telephones, and related
work. The project includes grading, trenching, connection to utility
systems, paving, landscaping and signage. The project included
demolition of four three-story masonry and reinforced concrete barracks
buildings. The project A Network Analysis will be required for this
project. . Magnitude of construction is estimated to be more than
$10,000,000.00. Duration of the project is 780 calendar days. THIS IS
