Principle features of the work include: (1) Furnish all materials and perform all work to construct a 5,000 square foot (sf) pre-engineered metal building containing a 2,600 sf mezzanine and 1,470 sf of finished interior complete and ready for occupancy; (2) construct concrete sidewalks, hot bituminous surfaced parking areas and access drives; (3) install a septic tank and evapotranspiration field; (4) extend utilities to the new warehouse building and make all connections to existing and relocated utility services; (5) complete associated sitework, landscaping and finish grading; (6) provide fully detailed design drawings and specifications for properly defining the work to the various crafts employed on the project and on completion of the project furnish a set of reproducible "As-Built" drawings. The estimated price range of the work is $250,000 to $500,000. The work is located at the Eastern Colorado Area Office at Flatiron Reservoir, approximately 7 miles southwest of Loveland, Colorado, at the Flatiron Power Complex in Larimer County. Solicitation packages are anticipated to be available 06/26/00. Requests for solicitations should be received on or before 07/13/00. The bid opening is tentatively scheduled for 07/27/00, at the office of the Bureau of Reclamation, Great Plains Regional Office, U.S. Federal Building, 316 North 26th Street, Room 2031, Billings, Montana 59101. The contract is to be completed within 400 days. There is no charge for the first copy of the solicitation, additional sets will be provided upon receipt of a nonrefundable check or money order of $9.00 each.
