The requirement would include the preparation and serving of breakfast and/or lunch to approximately 900 customers daily at two separate locations, cleaning of the facilities, and periodic special services at functions such as luncheon meetings, conferences, symposia, special dinners or emergencies. The breakfast menu shall include a basic combination of buffet and short orders featuring traditional breakfast selections such as eggs, breakfast meats, potatoes, toast and assorted breads and condiments. Lunch shall include soups, entrees, vegetables, salads, desserts and beverages. The conference program requires the ability to serve groups up to 900 people in a timely fashion. The Contractor shall provide all necessary cafeteria equipment and utensils of the general character such as chairs, tables, chinaware and dishes, containers, dispensers, glassware, linen, silverware, etc. The period of performance for this contract shall begin on January 2, 2001 for five years. There are also two additional option periods for five years each. F.O.B. Destination, Gaithersburg, Maryland. The SIC Code is 5812. This requirement will be done using the CONOPS (Concept of Operations) process.
