The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, vehicles, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform non-hazardous solid waste (refuse collection and disposal) services at McGuire AFB and selected areas at Ft Dix, New Jersey. The contractor shall perform to the performance standards in the contract as well as all local, state, federal, and environmental regulations and laws. The contractor shall provide non-hazardous solid waste collection services for approximately 337 buildings on the miltary base, 1892 housing units in Falcon Courts East, Falcon Courts North, specific units of Garden Terrace at Fort Dix, and fourteen trailers at Starlifter Park located adjacent to the base. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal and is issued on an unrestricted basis under the Designated Industry Group (DIG) Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code 4953. The proposed performance period is a Base Period from 1 Oct 2000 ! -- 30 Sep 2001 with four option years. All contractors responding to this solicitation must obtain a DUNS number and register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Failure to obtain a DUNS number and register in the CCR may result in the delay of award of a contract or possible award to the next otherwise successful offeror who is registered in the CCR at the time of award.
