The 109th Airlift Wing (AW) is in need of a fall protection system designed for the C-130H model aircraft in accordance with AFOSHSTD 91-100 Para 8.2.5, and must meet all other Air Force occupational safety and health standard requirements. The system must incorporate a nylon net that attaches to the trailing edge of the aircraft wing. The system must be lightweight and portable, constructed so two (2) mechanics can install the system in 30 minutes or less. All mounting hardware must attach to existing aircraft attachment points and be in compliance with military specification hardware. Must have fall restraint capabilities when work is being performed outside wing walkways. The fall arrest system will incorporate a lanyard, which will prevent the worker from falling more than six (6) feet. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.
