combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in
accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with
additional information included in this notice. This announcement
constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a
written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation
incorporates provisions and clauses identified in FAR Subpart 12, FAC
97-16, as required. Standard Industrial Classification is 3569 with a
500 size standard. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small
business concerns. This is a firm-fixed price procurement using
Commercial Procedures. This project is to install pump, reels, dispense
valves, storage, necessary air and product piping in vehicle
maintenance bldg. 325. This project will render a complete and
operational lubricating system. Storage tanks will be installed along
wall in Special Purpose shop, piping will be installed overhead from
storage to dispense valves. At this point hose reels will be connected.
Lubricants that will be stored and used in this system are: 10 W hyd
oil, 15 W 40 motor oil, ATF mercon/dexdon, Antifreeze/coolant, 5 W 30
motor oil, and chassis grease. The chassis grease will be stored in a
55-gal container and all other lubricants will be stored in 275 gal.
Tanks. A site visit is required to receive drawings and will be held on
31 Jun 2000 at 20th Contracting Squadron, Bldg. 305 Bluejay St. at 0900
hrs. At this time all contractors present will be taken to the job site
and given the drawings and specifications and have all questions
answered. All proposals are to include FOB destination prices. Delivery
to: 20th Trans, Bldg. 325, Shaw AFB, SC 29152. The following FAR
provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to
Offerors Commercial; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation- Commercial Items,
(price, technical, capability and delivery); FAR 52.212-3, Offeror
Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items (offerors must
include a completed copy with offer); FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and
Conditions Required to Implement Status of Executive Orders-
Commercial Items, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required
to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders- Commercial Items, DFARS
252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement
Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of
Commercial Items, and 52.215-5, Facsimile Proposals. All offers are due
no later than 05 Jun 2000 4:30 p.m. EST. Complete Representations and
Certifications are required with submission of pricing and technical
description of items being quoted. Quotations may be submitted via
