Requirement is for 300 tons of Almandite Garnet Abrasive, The abrasive shall be Almandite Garnet, uniform and sub-angular in shape. The abrasive shall be a dry free flowing 30-60 medimum grade material. The abrasive shall be used to blast clean ferrous and nonferrous metal surfaces, such as tank turrets and hulls, for removing corrosion, scale, and paint to provide surfaces that are clean and suitable for painting. The abrasive shall be delivered in bulk form. Deliveries shall be in increments of 25 tons per month, delivered between the 1st and 5th of each month. This requirement is a small business set-aside procurement. All responsible small business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3291 and the business size is 500 employees.
